One of the San Diego Comic-Con trailers in the gaming realm came from Activision in the form of a Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies “The Giant” bonus map trailer. Rather than simply throwing more Zombies into the franchise for the sake of it, this continuation of battling the undead is a sequel to what you’ve already played before.
Developer Treyarch is tapping back into their classic “Der Riese” Zombies map to continue the story of Dempsey, Nikolai, Richtofen, and Takeo where Origins left off. In “The Giant,” the Pack-A-Punch Machine that upgrades weapons is back and our favorite quartet of Zombie warriors is ready to take on the next wave.
“The Giant” bonus map is exclusive to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 collector’s editions. It will likely — though unconfirmed — be available for purchase separately sometime after launch.
