If you were watching Monday Night Football tonight then you may have noticed a new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare TV spot that ran early in the first quarter. That ad is actually part of a much bigger video, otherwise known as the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launch trailer.
Activision is notorious for releasing their launch trailers well ahead of a game’s release date. In the case of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, the launch trailer arrives just over two weeks from the game’s official release on November 4 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC.
There is an option to play the game a day early by pre-ordering the Day Zero limited edition digital version of the game. Those who take this route will be playing first thing on November 3 and enjoying double XP the entire day. They’ll also get a couple exclusive custom weapons including an assault rifle and crossbow.
Here’s the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launch trailer with plenty of Kevin Spacey to further blur the line between game and Hollywood, or something like that. I’ll be happy if it’s fun to play, period.
