Sony PS4 exclusives may be few and far between this holiday season, but a big one is coming in early 2015 and is already making pre-order waves at Amazon.com.
Bloodborne, a collaboration between FromSoftware and Sony Computer Entertainment’s Japan Studio, has been confirmed for a February 6, 2015 release date exclusively on PS4. In addition, a Bloodborne Collector’s Edition PS4 set has been assembled and will be available in limited quantities, shipping out the same day as the standard version at a $79.99 price point.
Sony is already warning that a pre-order might be required to ensure securing a copy of the Bloodborne Collector’s Edition. That may sound premature now, but already the Bloodborne Collector’s Edition PS4 pre-order has caught fire at online retailer and is quickly rising up the video games bestsellers chart. In the matter of the past two hours it came out of literally nowhere and has jumped up to the number three position behind only a pair of PlayStation store gift cards. Note that the standard edition hasn’t even cracked the top 20.
Here’s what’s included in the Bloodborne Collector’s Edition:
- Special Steelbook collector’s case
- Exclusive premium art book featuring stunning concept art from the game
- Complete soundtrack featuring all of the haunting music from the game’s score
Here’s where you can pre-order Bloodborne Collector’s Edition, while supplies last.
In case you haven’t watched it yet, here’s six minutes of actual Bloodborne gameplay footage released from the Tokyo Game Show earlier this week.
