Ridley Scott’s Alien Movie Cast Reunite in Alien: Isolation DLC

On the Internet, fans of Ridley Scott’s Alien will scream at today’s news of the entire original film cast joining Sega’s Alien: Isolation video game for a pair of DLC missions first obtainable by carefully the right edition of the game from the right retailer.

Sigourney Weaver (Ellen Ripley), Tom Skerritt (Dallas), Veronica Cartwright (Lambert), Harry Dean Stanton (Brett), Yaphet Kotto (Parker) and Ian Holm (Ash) are all returning  to voice their iconic Sci-Fi characters in Alien: Isolation. For Weaver, this marks the first time she has returned to the role of Ripley in 17 years.

The first Alien: Isolation DLC with the original Alien cast is titled Crew Expendable. In this mission, Brett has just been munched by the Alien and players will take control of Ripley, Dallas or Parker. The objective is to coordinate with Lambert and Ash and explore the Nostromo ship from top to bottom, drawing out the Alien and luring it into the airlock for dismissal into the vastness of space.

Crew Expendable will be playable by anyone who pre-orders the Alien: Isolation Nostromo Edition

The Alien: Isolation Last Survivor DLC recreates the final act of Alien that will task players, upon hearing the screams of  Lambert and Parker, to maneuver Ripley through the Nostromo to activate the ship’s self destruct sequence, then escape in the Narcissus shuttle. This DLC pack is available exclusively by pre-ordering at GameStop, which you can do through the link above.

Though unconfirmed at this time, Sega will likely make the Alien: Isolation movie DLC packs available as inexpensive DLC purchases for anyone who doesn’t pre-order the Nostromo version of the game at GameStop.

Alien: Isolation arrives in stores on October 7 for Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
