It didn’t take long for today’s Wonder Woman 1984 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray announcement to incite an avalanche of 4K pre-orders at Amazon.
Forget the Blu-ray combo pack edition as that one isn’t registering. Per Amazon’s Top Blu-ray Bestsellers Chart updated hourly, Wonder Woman 1984 on 4K UHD quickly climbed into the 11th position and is destined to imminently grab the top spot. And it will likely remain on the throne for the immediate future.
Interest in Wonder Woman 1984 on 4K Ultra HD is getting an extra push from millions of relatively new Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 owners who now have 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray drives whereas previously they may not have.
Comic book movies are especially popular on 4K given the extensive CGI and visual effects, and Wonder Woman 1984 is the biggest new release to hit the format since PS5 and Xbox Series X were launched last November.

Look for a price drop between now and its March 30th release date, at which time all pre-orders will automatically be lowered to meet the lower price.
