The cult classic UHF starring and written by “Weird Al” Yankovic turns 35 this year and Shout Studios is celebrating the milestone by bringing it to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray for the first time on July 2nd.
You can already pre-order UHF on 4K UHD at Amazon for a discounted price, as well as shop for three exclusive bundles at the Shout Studios store.
Shout Studios went back to the original 35mm camera negative and completed a new 4K scan for the anniversary. An audio commentary with “Weird Al” Yankovic and director Jay Levey is also on the 4K disc, while the remaining bonus features are housed on the included Blu-ray that also utilizes the new 4K scan.
