Director Jan de Bont’s Twister starring Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt will be making its physical media 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in a SteelBook case on July 9th, 2024, timed to coincide with the theatrical debut of the sequel, Twisters.
Unsurprisingly the Amazon pre-order for Twister on 4K UHD is quite popular, and should remain popular right through to its release.
In addition to a new 4K transfer, Twister in 4K will debut a Dolby Atmos audio mix for what should be a rumbling mix. Also new is a featurette The Legacy of Twister – Taken by the Wind featuring director Jan de Bont reminiscing about the film.
