Fans of the horror anthology flick Trick ‘r Treat get ready to celebrate because Scream Factory is bringing it back for a new Blu-ray release on October 9, 2018.
The Trick ‘r Treat Collector’s Edition Blu-ray aims to live up to its new designation by offering not only all the legacy Blu-ray bonus features, but a selection of all-new ones as well. What those new extras comprise is still in the works so we’ll have to wait for a follow-up announcement sometime in September for details.
Devon Whitehead created the new cover art seen below and it is approved by director Michael Dougherty. For the flip-side of the slipcover, Dougherty has provided alternative theatrical poster art to complete the new look from all angles.
Scream Factory has set aside 1,000 prints of the new artwork as an 18″ x 24″ rolled poster that will come free with all Trick ‘r Treat Collector’s Edition Blu-ray pre-orders at Shout! Factory’s website, while supplies last.
