Director Roar Uthaug’s reboot of Tomb Raider starring Alicia Vikander in the titular role is headed to Digital HD and Movies Anywhere on May 29th. Tomb Raider 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD editions will be released on June 12th.
Tomb Raider failed to find strong legs at the North American box office in earning $56.8 million in ticket sales to date. Given the inspirational video game and Vikander’s international appeal, it shouldn’t be surprising that Tomb Raider has earned nearly $270 million globally.
Also starring in Tomb Raider are Dominic West, Walton Goggins, Daniel Wu and Kristin Scott Thomas.
The Tomb Raider 4K UHD Blu-ray will feature Dolby Atmos audio and Dolby Vision HDR.
