The J.R.R Tolkien biopic Tolkien starring Nicholas Hoult and Lily Collins is coming to Digital on July 23rd.
A Blu-ray and DVD release date is set for August 6th. However, you won’t find Tolkien on 4K Ultra HD as Fox chose to skip that format for the initial home video release.
Tolkien had a rough go at the box office with roughly $7.7 million in ticket sales worldwide. A 51% approval rating at Rotten Tomatoes didn’t do the film any favors.
Director Dome Karukoski showed up for the bonus features and recorded a series of audio tracks. Here’s a rundown of all the Tolkien home video extras:
