Tito and the Birds was nominated for an Annie Award for Best Animated Feature-Independent. It will next come to Blu-ray and DVD via Shout! Studios.
Gustavo Steinberg, Gabriel Bitar (Cidade Cinza), and André Catoto wrote the story about a shy 10-year-old boy who sets out to save the world based on his father’s past research. As the film’s name implies, the cure for a sickness spreading the globe may rest within the songs of a specific type of bird.
Both the original Portuguese language version with English subtitles, and the English language dub are included on the Blu-ray and DVD.
The Tito and the Birds Blu-ray and DVD release will come with a pair of bonus features:
