Asa Butterfield and Britt Robertson must literally cross stars to become star-crossed lovers in The Space Between Us.
Universal Studios Home Entertainment have announced a May 2nd release date for The Space Between Us on Digital HD. The Space Between Us Blu-ray and DVD editions will arrive two weeks later on May 16th. A 4K Ultra HD version is not planned at this time.
The Space Between Us also stars Gary Oldman, BD Wong and Carla Gugino.
Despite a modest $30 million budget, The Space Between Us failed to catch on at the box office and came up short of $8 million during its run. A rash of negative reviews and 16 percent approval rating at Rotten Tomatoes didn’t help drive ticket sales.
Despite its box office struggles, Universal is including a selection of bonus features as outlined below:

- “Love” Featurette – An inside look, with the cast and filmmakers, at the themes of the film,highlighting the one theme that connects us all – Love.
