Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is filling in all the gaps in your The Matrix 4K Ultra HD collection on October 2nd whether you already own the original in 4K already or not.
As confirmed by online retailer Amazon.com, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions are getting a complimentary 4K UHD release to this year’s earlier The Matrix release.
Additionally, Warner Bros. is putting out a three-film The Matrix Collection set for those who passed up The Matrix in 4K in anticipation of an eventual and probable Trilogy set.

Best Buy is adding to their growing collection of awesome 4K Steelbooks with individual releases for all three Matrix films. There’s no Steelbook for the Trilogy set, but do we really need one?

If we follow Warner’s specs for The Matrix on 4K UHD then Reloaded and Revolutions will each include Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio, and both will be at or very near reference quality in their presentation.
