Ping Zhang’s The Legend of Hei animated feature-length movie took over 5 years to make. You won’t have to wait anywhere near as long from today to watch it in North America.
Shout! Factory have announced an April 30th release date for The Legend of Hei on Digital platforms. That debut will be followed by physical Blu-ray and DVD offerings on May 11th.
The English dub voice cast features Emi Lo (Bofuri, Valentine), Aleks Le (Funan, Ne Zha), Howard Wang (Dragon Ball Z, Marvel Avengers Academy), Kaiji Tang (Justice League, Grantz-O), Caleb Yen (Black Clover, Scott & Crowley), and Suzie Yeung (Kemono Friends).
There are no known bonus features expected for The Legend of Hei home video release.
