As the sequel Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse swings into theaters this weekend and paces to destroy the original box office tally, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have begun unleashing home video pre-orders, including the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray that should shine.
In addition to the 4K UHD Blu-ray version of Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, Amazon is also taking pre-orders for the sequel on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital.
It is too early to pin down an exact release date for Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse on 4K Blu-ray and other formats. A best guess right now would be in mid-to-late August, but no later than Labor Day in September.
The Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 4K release is a reference-quality disc and Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse in 4K should be no different. Expect this new 4K pre-order to zoom to the top of Amazon’s bestseller chart in no time.
