‘Spaceballs’ Flying to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray via Kino Lorber StudiosClassics

By the Power of the Schwartz, the highest profile Star Wars spoof will be coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the near future.

Mel Brooks’ Spaceballs has officially been announced for a future 4K UHD release by Kino Lorber StudioClassics.

There’s no precise release date yet, but there is confirmation that the video will be presented with HDR Dolby Vision for a little extra color range.

Spaceballs helped scratch the itch for more adventures in some galaxy far, far away four years following the premiere of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. It stars Mel Brooks, John Candy, Rick Moranis, Bill Pullman, Daphne Zuniga, Joan Rivers, Dick Van Patten, and John Hurt.
