The Schwartz is strong with this one. On April 13th, 2021, Kino Lorber Studio Classics will bring the Mel Brooks spoof comedy classic Spaceballs to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray for the first time.
This 4K and Blu-ray combo pack will include a host of bonus features and Dolby Vision HDR. It will not get an audio upgrade; however, as 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio is being reused rather than an upgrade to Dolby Atmos or DTS:X.
Kino Lorber had previously announced Spaceballs in 4K back in September due declined to offer a release date at that time. Now we have a release date and some of the bonus features.
