Shout! Studios have revealed plans to bring the 1977 movie Rolling Thunder to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray for the first time ever on April 23rd. It will be packaged as part of the Shout Select line and also include a Blu-ray version of the film.

Both the 1080 Blu-ray and 4K presentations of Rolling Thunder will utilize a new 4K transfer from the 35mm original camera negative. In addition they will each support DTS-HD Master Audio Mono.
Bonus features are all housed on the Blu-ray Disc and include some all-new ones commissioned for this release.
