Director Steven S. DeKnight’s Pacific Rim Uprising is bringing its Kaiju vs Jaegers battle to virtually all home video formats this June.
Digital and Movies Anywhere gets an early release on June 5th, while the Pacific Rim Uprising 4K, Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD editions are slated for a June 19th release date.
Pacific Rim Uprising is a sequel set 10 years prior to the events of Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim. North American box office success proved elusive with ticket sales south of $60 million despite a $150 million production budget. However, international fans were much more interested and drove global business up to $281.4 million.
