Fox Home Entertainment has revealed the Oculus Blu-ray release date is August 5, though you will be able to join in on the scares from the comfort of your home a week early on July 29 with the early Digital HD release.
Oculus stars Karen Gillan as Tim and Brenton Thwaites as Kaylie, siblings with a dark past that catches up to them both when Tim is released from a mental institution after being incarcerated for the murder of their parents a decade before. Tim wants to move on, but Kaylie wants to destroy the evil that she suspects led to the murder.
Relatively Media released Oculus in cinemas back in April and it went on to earn $27.7 million at the box office, well beyond the film’s projected $5 million production budget.
The Oculus Blu-ray will be presented in 2.4:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTs-HD Master Audio. Bonus features include:
- Deleted Scenes with Optional Commentary by Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy
