‘Moonlight’ Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Release Date and Details

Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced the Moonlight Blu-ray and DVD release date, along with Digital HD in a combo pack configuration, is set for February 28th. No Moonlight 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray is planned at this time.

Moonlight was a big winner at this past weekend’s Oscar nominations scoring a total of eight nods including Best Picture. Other Academy Awards Moonlight was nominated for include Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Mahershala Ali), Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Naomie Harris), Best Director, Best Original Score, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing.

Moonlight is directed by Barry Jenkins and also stars Trevante Rhodes, André Holland and Janelle Monáe.

For its Blu-ray release, Moonlight is presented in 2.39:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
