Shout! Factory wants to make sure as many fans as possible can get their hands on the Blu-ray version of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie. Therefore, on June 4th, it will get a standalone release.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie was previously exclusive to the Power Rangers Complete Series Blu-ray box set. If you only wanted the movie and not the TV series then you were out of luck. That all changes in a few month.
This standalone Blu-ray release of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie will be identical to the one found in the big box set. A trio of bonus features include:
- The Mighty Leap to the Silver Screen: A look back at the movie with the cast and crew, including brand-new interviews with director Bryan Spicer and stars Johnny Yong Bosch and Paul Freeman

- Original Featurette
