Fox Home Entertainment is bringing the sequel Independence Day: Resurgence starring Jeff Goldblum, Liam Hemsworth, Jesse T. Usher, Bill Pullman and Brent Spiner first to Digital HD on September 27th, then followed by a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD release on October 18th.
Independence Day: Resurgence had a rough time at the domestic box office with earnings just under $103 million to date. Internationally it fared better to bring worldwide box office ticket sales to $383.6 million.
The Independence Day: Resurgence 4K UHD Blu-ray will offer Dolby Atmos audio while the Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray versions will support 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Bonus features are identical across all formats as listed below:
