Sony Pictures Home Entertainment pulled out an unexpected title from their catalog for a physical and digital 4K Ultra HD release on November 6th in the form of director Wolfgang Petersen’s Air Force One starring Harrison Ford.
The 1991 action thriller set aboard the President of the United States’ famous airplane is being remastered in 4K from the original camera negative. Additional tech specs include HDR and Dolby Atmos audio.
A lone legacy bonus feature, an audio Commentary with director Wolfgang Petersen, is included.
Air Force One also stars Gary Oldman as the main villain, Wendy Crewson, Paul Guilfoyle, William H. Macy, Liesel Matthews and Dean Stockwell.
