Scream Factory has officially announced an October 15th, 2024 release date for the debut of George A. Romero’s Land of the Dead on 4K Ultra HD.
This 2025 horror movie is almost 20 years old and available to pre-order at Amazon.
For its entry into the 4K UHD space, Scream Factory performed a 4K restoration from the original Land of the Dead camera negative earlier this year for the entire unrated cut.
This new 4K presentation will feature both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, with the restoration also being used on two additional Blu-ray versions of the film in this package; the unrated cut and the theatrical cut. Note that the theatrical cut is only included on Blu-ray.
