Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced an August 28th release date for Freedom Fighters: The Ray on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD.
Freedom Fighters: The Ray is the latest CW Seed animated series making the jump from short form video to a feature-length DC animated film. It hails from the creative team responsible for The CW’s live-action Arrowverse series Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
Lending their voice talents to Freedom Fighters: The Ray are Russell Tovey as The Ray/Ray Terrill, Jason Mitchell as Black Condor/John Trujillo, Dilshad Vadsaria as Phantom Lady/Jenny Knight, Melissa Benoist as Overgirl, Megalyn Echikunwoke as Vixen, Iddo Goldberg as Red Tornado, Sunil Malhotra as Jacob, Matthew Mercer as Dollman/Green Arrow/Black Arrow, Colleen O’Shaughnessy as Mrs. Terrill, Laura Post as Resistance Gunner, Christopher Corey Smith as Donald, Bruce Thomas as Mr. Terrill, and Scott Whyte as The Flash/Blitzkrieg.
Reprising their live-action Arrowverse characters in animated form are Echo Kellum as Curtis Holt/Mr. Terrific), Danielle Panabaker as Dr. Caitlin Snow, and Carlos Valdez as Cisco Ramon/Vibe.
No bonus features are included on any version of Freedom Fighters: The Ray.
