The baseball classics are making their way to 4K Ultra HD this summer. First we learned that The Natural was stepping up to plate. Now Universal has confirmed Field of Dreams starring Kevin Costner is getting the 4K treatment in celebration of the film’s 30th anniversary.
The official release date for Field of Dreams on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray is May 14th. The film will come with DTS:X audio and HDR.
It doesn’t appear that Universal commissioned any new bonus features for the Field of Dreams 4K debut. Legacy extras listed below will be included on the inclusive Blu-ray version, with the audio commentary being an option on the 4K as well as Blu-ray.
