Warner Home Video has announced a November 11, 2014 release date for director Clint Eastwood’s Jersey Boys on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD.
Jersey Boys is based on the Tony Award-winning musical of the same name. Like the musical, the feature film stars John Lloyd Young as Frankie Valli, lead singer of The Four Seasons, and chronicles how a group of boys came together to form the famous band. The film also stars Erich Bergen, Michael Lomenda, Vincent Piazza, and Christopher Walken.
Jersey Boys was met with mixed results by critics with a 53 percent approval rating at Rotten Tomatoes. Ticket sales failed to live up to expectations with $58.9 million in worldwide business, though the film did earn the most for an Eastwood production in North American since Gran Torino in 2008.
The Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD combo version of Jersey Boys includes a trio of bonus features, two of which are exclusive. The third will also appear on the DVD standalone release.
