In 2019, Walt Disney’s classic animated film Cinderella celebrates its 70th anniversary.
Disney is marking the milestone by releasing a new Cinderella Signature Collection home video anniversary edition on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD.
The Cinderella Signature Collection Digital HD release arrives first on June 18th. You won’t have to wait long for the Blu-ray or DVD physical disc versions as they are slated for a June 25th bow.
Unfortunately there’s no evidence of a Cinderella 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray at this time. If Disney announces it we’ll be sure to pass along the news.
What is coming on June 25th is a 4K Ultra HD debut of Disney’s 2015 live-action Cinderella.
A pair of new bonus feature have been added to a selection of legacy extras to complete the Cinderella Signature Collection release. The all new extras are:
- Try This Trivia on for Size – Join Ruth Righi and Ava Kolker from Disney Channel’s Sydney to the Max and put your knowledge of Cinderella to the test.
- In Walt’s Words: Enhanced Edition – Watch the movie and gain some insight into its production with storyboards, archival photos, sketches and transcripts.
