Director Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner 2049, the sequel to Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner starring Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, didn’t live up to box office expectations. The visually mesmerizing film is primed for a big home video run, especially for 4K Ultra HD adopters looking for those reference quality discs to show off their gear.
Online retailer Amazon.com has already begun accepting pre-orders for Blade Runner 2049 on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. The prices are higher than what they’ll lower to prior to shipping in early 2018, so keep Amazon’s low price guarantee in mind if you lock up your pre-order early.
