North America’s third-highest grossing movie of all time is coming home sooner rather than later as confirmed in the official Marvel’s Black Panther home video announcement plans.
Black Panther will first be available May 8th digitally including Movies Anywhere in high definition and 4K Ultra HD. The Black Panther Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and DVD editions are slated for a week later on May 15th.
The 4K editions of Black Panther feature Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio. Note that Black Panther is the second Marvel film to get the 4K treatment behind James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2, and the third from Disney behind Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Two of the bonus features are exclusive to digital versions and will probably end up online in some form for physical disc owners to watch regardless. Here’s a complete rundown of extras that span beyond Black Panther and elsewhere into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
