Scream Factory have formally announced a September 27th release date for Sam Raimi’s Army of Darknesss, the third and final film in his Evil Dead trilogy. It will be available in regular and Steelbook cases, both of which currently have active pre-order pages at Amazon.

The arrival of Army of Darkness in 4K comes as a Collector’s Edition so expect a plethora of bonus features, including some new ones. We’ll have to wait until the release date is a little closer before those are revealed.
Both the standard and limited edition Army of Darkness 4K releases will also include the film and bonus features on Blu-ray.
