The Matrix will be one of the hottest catalog films coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray this summer. Though pre-orders weren’t available when it was first announced, Amazon.com has fired theirs up in anticipation of its upcoming release.
It will set you back at most $34.99 to pre-order The Matrix on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and Digital combo from Amazon. As often happens with Amazon pre-orders, any price adjustment lower before the May 22nd release date will be applied to an existing pre-order.
A quick peek at Amazon’s top 100 Blu-ray Bestsellers chart shows that The Matrix 4K hasn’t cracked the list yet. That’s sure to change as word continues to spread about its existence and pre-order availability.

There’s currently no word on whether both The Matrix sequels are planned for a 4K release in the near future.
