‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ 4K Release Official for October 8th

Paramount Home Entertainment have broken their silence and officially announced an October 8th release date for the prequel A Quiet Place: Day One on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD. The 4K UHD version will have a SteelBook case option that has already been available to pre-order for several weeks, while the Digital version arrives tomorrow on July 30th.

Pre-order the A Quiet Place: Day One 4K SteelBook or the standard case at Amazon for a discounted price.

A Quiet Place: Day One on 4K will be presented with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio. Much of the film is naturally quiet, but when the ambiance and noise kicks in it should be quite the treat in Atmos.

A collection of bonus features will be included across all home video formats for A Quiet Place: Day One.

  • Day Zero: Beginnings and Endings—Hear from John Krasinski, cast, and crew as director Michael Sarnoski takes the reins for this character-driven prequel.
  • In the City: Chaos in Chinatown—See how the production crew recreated Manhattan from scratch in order to destroy it.  Plus, hear from some new and familiar faces from the franchise.
  • The Exodus: Against the Tide—Go behind-the-scenes of the exodus sequence that employed over a hundred extras and a clever mix of practical and visual effects.
  • The Long Walk: Monsters in Midtown—Meet Frodo the cat and the animal trainers behind the fantastic feline performance. Plus, filmmakers detail Sam, Eric, and Frodo’s long walk through the city.
  • Pizza at the End of the World—Hear from cast and crew about why a quest for pizza when the world is under attack poignantly speaks to our humanity.
  • Deleted and Extended Scenes

Starring in A Quiet Place: Day One are Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, and Djimon Hounsou.
