Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni’s The Mandalorian will become the first Star Wars property to get a second set of Hasbro’s Retro Collection action figures. A total of six figures comprise this new wave and just officially dropped for pre-order.
Pre-order The Mandalorian Retro Collection Wave 2 figures at Entertainment Earth either individually or by the case.
The six figures comprising this second wave are a mix of characters from Season 1 and Season 2. Looking back at Season 1 we have the Death Trooper army builder, The Mandalorian himself in Beskar armor to compliment Wave 1’s pre-Beskar look, and The Armorer.
The other three figures are from Season 2 and are sure to be hot sellers. Get ready for re-armored Boba Fett (Morak), former Jedi apprentice Ahsoka Tano, and the Night Owls leader Bo-Katan Kryze.
Note that two of those three The Mandalorian Season 2 figures do not yet exist in The Vintage Collection. This same phenomena happened with Wave 1 where Kuiil and IG-11 hadn’t yet appeared in TVC, but since Wave 1’s release were announced. I would expect Ahsoka Tano and Boba Fett to make their way into TVC in 2022 with the same card backs as the Retro Collection versions.
