It has been over 40 years since Flash Gordon saved Earth from Ming the Merciless. In that time he’s yet to receive a proper action figure that captures Sam Jones’s portrayal of the unlikely hero, but he did receive a fantastic 4K UHD Blu-ray release last summer.
Boss Fight Studio is changing that with not one but two lines of Flash Gordon action figures in the classic 4″ scale. One line is based on the comic book, and the other the 1980 film inspired by the comic book.
Up first in the Flash Gordon movie line is Flash himself in his classic white t-shirt. He comes with three interchangeable heads, five interchangeable hands, the football-shaped thing he uses as a weapon, a stand, and a vintage-styled metal lunch box, and a movie T-shirt. I think you’ll agree he looks awesome, and he’ll look even more awesome alongside Prince Barin (Timothy Dalton), who debuts later in 2021.
Flash is the first release in the new Hero H.A.C.K.S. line of action figures that also includes characters based on Zorro, Tarzan and The Phantom.
You will be able to order Flash Gordon starting this Friday, January 8th at 4 pm ET at the Boss Fight Studio online shop.
