Like The Walking Dead before it, Fear The Walking Dead is a character study of how people from different walks of life react to an apocalyptic situation. The series is centered around a blended family in Los Angeles, California, and a new featurette is available ahead of tonight’s big premiere episode that introduces each key cast member in the pilot.
At the heart of the show are Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis), two people trying to make their new blended family with three kids work. It’s not all roses and smiles for the family, especially considering Chris (Lorenzo James Henry), Travis’ son, is very much against the new arrangement.
Then there’s the Salazars, another blended family with an only child that Madison and Travis will find themselves forced together with after the world starts to fall apart. All of these characters bring baggage with them as they must fight to survive.
