The wait for Marvel’s Daredevil Netflix series got a lot shorter today as we’ve learned when the newest superhero to join the live-action universe will make his anticipated streaming debut.
Marvel has formally announced the Netflix Daredevil release date is set for April 10, 2015. This means that on that date, any Netflix subscriber will be able to log in and binge watch all 13 one-hour episodes of Daredevil. Or, if you’re like me, you’ll take your time and enjoy them in small bites of one or two episodes per sitting.
What’s great about this announcement is that Daredevil is only three months out and we’ve yet to see a single image of Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) in his signature red superhero outfit. We’ve seen him in his precursor outfit that looks more like a low-budget vigilante, but not the red digs. At least not yet.
The Daredevil Netflix release date announcement was accompanied by a new poster and a new still via USA Today, both of which you can see below. There’s two versions of the poster; one is a static image and the second one is animated.
Daredevil also stars Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk.
