Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition will offer players a chance to give their worlds a Halo overhaul starting tomorrow with the release of the Halo Mash-Up pack via Xbox Live.
4J Studios has packed with Halo Mash-Up pack with all sorts of Halo goodness. In addition to the obvious Halo texture packs it will come with, this mash-up pack also re-skins the menus to Halo and brings in 31 music tracks from the Halo franchise.
In addition, the Halo Mash-Up pack includes 40 characters skins ranging from Cortana and Master Chief to Arbiter and Sergeant Johnson; pre-made worlds including Silent Cartographer, Sandtrap, Valhalla, Blackout, Guardian and Blood Gulch; and other Halo vehicles, weapons and features.
Microsoft hasn’t confirmed that the Halo Mash-Up pack will be included in the DLC packs that successfully port into Minecraft: Xbox One Edition in August, though I would be shocked if it didn’t considering how high profile it is.
The Halo Mash-Up pack for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition will be available to purchase via Xbox Live starting Wednesday, May 28 for a cost of $3.99. Check out a trailer of his pack in action below and you’ll never look at Halo the same way again.
