It takes a certain kind of swagger to bring a pirate to life, and that is what Ubisoft tasked a trio of actors with for the upcoming sequel Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag.
The following video meets up with each of these actors who provided the motion capture and voice work required to bring their characters to life. Matt Ryan (Edward Kenway), Mark Bonnar (Blackbeard), and Ralph Ineson discuss what it took for each of them personally to tap into their designated pirate personalities.
The Assassin’s Creed franchise takes its first voyage to the Caribbean when Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag comes to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and the PC on October 9, followed by Xbox One on its as-of-yet announced launch date and PlayStation 4 on November 15.
