Showtime’s Homeland will begin its home video run on August 28 with the release of Season 1 via Fox Home Entertainment.
Homeland stars Claire Danes and Damian Lewis in the story of a CIA operative who believes a recently saved prisoner of war from the Middle East was turned into an Al Queda sleeper operative. Her peers won’t listen to her so she trusts her instincts to uncover the truth, even at the expense of maintaining her own sanity. The show won two Golden Globes in 2012: Best Actress in a Television Series for Danes and Best Television Series – Drama.
The Blu-ray version of Homeland: Season 1 spans three discs and will be presented in 1.78:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Deleted scenes will appear on each disc, accompanied by a pair of featurettes on disc three: ‘Under Surveillance – Making Homeland’ and ‘The Visit: A Prologue to Season 2.’
