It sure has taken awhile after numerous DVD releases, but I can finally confirm that Paramount Home Entertainment is bringing Stephen King’s 1989 horror thriller Pet Sematary to Blu-ray. The release date is October 2, 2012.
Pet Sematary stars Blaze Berdahi, Denise Crosby, Brad Greenquist, Fred Gwynne, Miko Hughes, Dale Kidkiff and Michael Lombard in the story of a sematary that is able to bring dead things back to life when buried there. What starts with a family pet quickly spirals out of control when a tragic accident puts a human into the cursed grounds.
The expected tech specs for Pet Sematary on Blu-ray are 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Bonus features are confirmed and include:
