Martin Scorsese took home the Best Director award at the 2012 Golden Globes last night for Hugo, the family film he confessed to making at his wife’s request so their child could watch it.
Although Hugo starring Chloe Grace Moretz, Asa Butterfield, Ben Kingsley and Sacha Baron Cohen has not yet been announced for home video by Paramount Home Entertainment, online retailer Amazon.com has begun taking pre-orders for the Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD versions of the film. Hugo is considered to be representative of one of the best implementations of 3D in a film yet, so the Blu-ray 3D version should prove popular amongst 3D adopters.
Paramount has given Amazon the Hugo Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray cover art for Hugo which I have included below. I’ll additionally share the full details for both versions, as well as the release date, when Paramount makes their announcement.
