Disney has released a new banner and featurette for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, both of which put – who else – Johnny Depp in the spotlight.
The banner, which you can click below to see a larger version, has Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow with arms extended to his sides and pistols cocked and loaded. Expect to see it hanging in your local multiplex in the weeks ahead.
The nearly three-minute featurette is the same one that first leaked onto the Internet back in January but was quickly wiped clean by Disney. It has now made its official debut after appearing on the new Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy 7-disc Blu-ray Disc box set and includes some new footage, introduction by Johnny Depp in Sparrow character, and behind-the-scenes clips.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides also stars Geoffrey Rush, Ian McShane, and Penelope Cruz. Look for it to sail into theaters in 2D and 3D on May 20.
