Universal is continuing to screen test actresses in search for the one who is the fairest of them all. As a young batch of hopefuls are put through the wringer, one most established name has stuck on Universal’s list.
Still in the running for the role of Snow White in Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman is Twilight’s Kristen Stewart. She has apparently been on the list since the very beginning and no one who has screen tested thus far has bumped her off it.
Stewart’s resume isn’t necessarily robust but her name is a household term. As such she wouldn’t need to screen test for the role and would be handed it should director Rupert Sanders and studio executives decide to go that route.
If cast, Stewart would be joining Viggo Mortensen who is in negotiations to play the Huntsman. Charlize Theron is in negotiations to play the evil queen.
