Jackass 3 is headed to Blu-ray and DVD on March 8 but won’t be appearing on Blu-ray 3D, at least initially.
Paramount has elected to allow all purchasers of Jackass 3D on either format the opportunity to view the film in anaglyph 3D via four pairs of packed-in glasses. If a Blu-ray 3D version is released it would have to be a store exclusive, and that doesn’t seem likely at this time.
Regardless of format, Jackass 3 on Blu-ray will offer the theatrical and a new unrated cut on the same disc. The anaglyph 3D version is the theatrical cut and will be included in DVD format as a second disc in the Blu-ray package. The bonus features are all in high definition on disc one as follows:
- MTV Making Of Special
- 11 Deleted Scenes
- 29 Outtakes
- Trailer
