The 1980 cheesy yet utterly unforgettable big screen adaptation of Flash Gordon is coming out of home video retirement for a Blu-ray Disc debut on June 15.
Universal will bring the struggle of Flash (Sam J. Jones) and Dale Arden (Melody Anderson) against Ming the Merciless (Max von Sydow) set against Queen’s memorable score to Blu-ray in 2.2:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. D-BOX Motion Code will be included on the disc as well.
A handful of welcome bonus features will accompany the film on Blu-ray as outlined below:
