One of the biggest news drops during Microsoft’s keynote address Wednesday evening prefacing CES 2010 was not about Windows 7 or tablet PCs. It was about Xbox 360, or more specifically when we can expect to see Project Natal arrive in stores.
Microsoft Entertainment and Devices President Robbie Bach took the stage and announced Project Natal will be in stores for “Holiday 2010” which is usually taken to mean sometime before Christmas. A November release is likely to take advantage of Black Friday shopping but we likely will not know an official release date until E3 this summer at the earliest.
We hope to get our hands, or should I say bodies, into Natal at E3. Expect the launch games to be announced then as well.
