A handful of previously announced Blu-ray Disc titles have had their street dates adjusted for unknown reasons. We have a move up, and move back and a move into indefinite uncertainty.
First, the good news for fans of The House Bunny. Sony has moved up the release to Friday, December 19 from its original Tuesday, December 23 date. This gives House Bunny a slight edge for last minute Christmas shoppers.
MGM’s This is Spinal Tap was originally scheduled for a January 20 arrival. A substantial delay has pushed back its release to March 17.
Last, and most strange is the fate of 8 Mile. The Eminem biopic was originally scheduled for November 18 and then delayed a month into December. Now we’ve learned Universal has indefinitely delayed its release.
