Amazon.com has tinkered with their popular $100 off a Blu-ray player deal by adding three Sony players to the Sylvania and 80GB PS3 console already available.
The cheapest Sony player eligible for the deal is the Sony BDP-S30 selling for $176.96. If you subtract $100 from that and add in roughly $90 for the four Warner Blu-ray titles required for the sale, you’re picking up a Blu-ray player and four movies for just under $150 with free shipping.
Other eligible Sony players are the more advanced and more expensive BDP-S350 and BDP-S550.
Some of Warner’s best titles are represented in the eligible list for the promotion including aforementioned Batman Begins, Speed Racer, Goodfellas and The Corpse Bride. You could even swap in 10,000 BC or Full Metal Jacket and come away floored by your first Blu-ray experience purchased at a sweet discounted price.
Other retailers like Best Buy, recently scaling back Circuit City and Target are offering players around the $200. With the Amazon deal, you could walk away with a player and four movies for under $150. That’s a tough early Christmas gift to turn down.
